MUMBAI: Internationally-renowned French artist, DJ and producer David Guetta will give a keynote address at the 12th edition of MidemNet, the high-level music industry forum on value creation and content monetisation in the digital era, which takes place on Saturday, 22 January 2011, ahead of MIDEM in Cannes.

David Guetta will share his experience of ground-breaking partnerships in the area of digital and mobile services with MidemNet participants, and will outline the opportunities in the digital space that artists can now exploit to reach their fans. A major presence on social networks, Guetta has a huge following on YouTube and Twitter and to date counts 12 million followers on Facebook.

David Guetta has also forged numerous innovative digital partnerships. In July 2009, he linked up with the French start-up MXP4, a creator of musical applications which enables fans to remix their favourite artists' music, resulting in Guetta's hits being used two million times. He also signed a promotion and marketing agreement this year with karaoke site PureSolo, which allows re-recording of vocals and instruments on his works.

David Guetta is currently developing a solid brand franchise, associating his company, Guetta Events, with EMI Music to transform the brand and event concept "F*** Me I'm Famous," together with its merchandise and music compilations, into a global business based on recreating and exporting the success of the Ibiza nightclub scene.
