Dada's Devils go cricket crazy on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM

MUMBAI: Cricket bowls the airwaves!!! As the IPL excitement sweeps over the entire country, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India's hottest Radio station, brings for its listeners a special initiative to support the Kolkata Knight Riders team in Mirchi style throughout the tournament, a fan club for the Kolkata franchise, Dada's Devils.

To capture the festive feel with the cricket flavor, on the auspicious occasion of Poila Baisakh (the Bengali New Year), IPL celebrations kick started with the inauguration of the unofficial fan club by Tollywood actress Koel Mullick with first fifty registered members on a Radio Mirchi branded tram. Kolkatans rejoiced each moment in complete rhythm with the famous Bangla band 'KAYA' that played the official fan club anthem composed especially for radio Mirchi.

Aimed at spurring enthusiasm and support amongst the listeners for the 'Kolkata Knight Riders' team, Radio Mirchi has also introduced special on- air contests, slogan-writing competition to give all the more reasons to enjoy cricket.

By registering themselves to Dada's Devils celebrations listeners have already won an exclusive opportunity to meet 'DADA' (Saurav Ganguly). The members are also getting tickets for the home matches and a chance to be a roving reporter for the matches, special screening of the matches with special offers, Radio Mirchi special IPL goodies and much more. Currently the membership strength stands at 250 and growing.
