Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang music launch

Mumbai: Saregama India Limited and Elecom Fiesta Entertainment, along with UTV play, today, launched the music of Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang..., India's first Bi-lingual animated movie for children. The flagship music company, once again, brought to its listeners an album entailing an eclectic mix of tracks sung by some of the most talented singers in the country.

Saregama India Limited, as always, has treated the music of the film with a lot of innovation. Profound artists like Ustad Rashid Khan, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle, Joy and many more have offered their melodious voices to the mesmerizing notes of music director Jeet Ganguli lyricist Nida Fazli. The tracks, �Lets Be One', �Cham Cham' and �Jhil Mil', Ghanana Ghanana are some of the highlights of the album. �Lets Be One' (Hindi) has been sung by the vivacious singer Kunal Ganjawala. The song seemed to be tailor made for this young, talented & enthusiastic singer.. Baje Bigul is an extremely energetic track, portraying an �army of ants' sung by Sudesh Bhosle. Shaan, on the other hand, has sung �Cham Cham' a catchy, eve-teasing number. The album again takes a very romantic twist owing to the mellifluous track; �Jhil Mil' sung by versatile artists Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal. The song is dedicated to the lead pair of the movie Prince Lohit and princess Krishna. The track Ghanana Ghanana is a mix between Indian Classical and trance, sung by the famous Hindustani classical maestro Ustad Rashid Khan.

Elecom Fiesta Entertainment and music director Jeet Gaanguli has put in a lot of detailing in the music and lyrics of the film as it caters to children. Lyricists Nida Fazli and Joy have kept in mind the storyline of the film along with the artists making it a blissful experience for the audience. The movie is scheduled to release on 10 October 2008.

The evening saw the kind presence of Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sudesh Bhosle and Anjan Srivastava along with the music director Jeet and many other dignitaries.

Saregama believes that after all the previous milestones they still need to keep striving to bring good music to the fore, to provide a platform to the voices of future.
