Champi... Tel Maalish with Abhay Deol and Radio Mirchi

MUMBAI: After enthralling audiences with brilliant performances in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and Dev D, Abhay Deol is all set to charm his fans with his upcoming flick - Road, Movie. The talented actor shared his experience of shooting on the road, working with Dev Benegal and much more yesterday evening on Radio Mirchi's Sunset Samosa with RJ Suren.

Releasing this Friday, "Road, Movie" revolves around Vishnu (Abhay Deol), a young man desperate to escape a future as a salesman for his father's hair oil business. To add to the revelry, and to bring to life the popular song from the film, Radio Mirchi organized a â€?Tel Maalish' contest where listeners were invited to answer simple questions related to Abhay and his films. Lucky winners not only got an exclusive champi but also won an opportunity to meet the Cool Deol himself. The icing on the cake was when a young Mirchi listener got the chance of a lifetime – Abhay, being a sport, did champi on a young lad

Talking about the movie, Abhay confessed he learnt driving from Sunny Deol whom he fondly calls Bhaiyya... but denied the fact that he ever learnt driving a truck from Bhaiyya.... Tagged as the poster boy of crossover films, Abhay revealed to RJ Suren that he wants to do non-formula and original films which have good content.

Road is an exceptional film as it traces the journey of the protagonist, Vishnu, who travels across the desert with his worn out trunk and encounters exotic adventures on his way. With an ensemble cast of seasoned actors like Satish Kaushik and Tannishtha Chatterjee, Road promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Tune into Radio Mirchi for more such exciting contests and conversations.
