'Bowled out! Female Illiteracy', BIG FM organize Women's cricket cup to celebrate International Women's Day

MUMBAI: Women are not just about beauty or fashion, when it comes to cricket, they stand at par with men  92.7 BIG FM, Hyderabad's leading radio station in its continuous endeavor to entertain Hyderabadi's today celebrated the spirit of womenhood on the eve of women's day by organizing a Women's Cricket Cup. Ammayi Ni Chadivinchandi, Illiteracy ni clean bowled cheyandi... was the thought and cause behind the initiative. Supported by the girls from â€?Sphoorthi Foundation' the match played at Marredpally grounds was inaugurated by Ms. DK Aruna, Hon'ble Minister for IT & Public Relations  The initiative was part of BIG FM's on-going radio campaign Tollywood World Cup... where people get chance to select their teams, play and win loads of prizes.

Students from Spoorthi Foundation, led by their captain's renowned Director Nandini Reddy (Ala Modalaindi fame) and Singer Kousalya, along with singers Malavika and Pranavi altogether put up a great match entertaining everyone at the Marredpally grounds. RJ's Shekar and Jo ensured people listen to some interesting commentary thought out the match.
