Unfortunately, fate had some other plans and his untimely demise cut short a promising life. Ishmeet will however live in the memories of his fans who will best remember him as the Sikh boy whose voice touched their hearts deeply. Ishmeet's last studio recording was the Mool Mantar.

BIG Music announces the launch of the Mool Mantar, the first hymn in the Guru Granth Sahib sung in the soothing and mellifluous voice of Ishmeet Singh

Speaking on the occasion Kulmeet Makkar, CEO of BIG Music and Home Entertainment commented, The mantar is a composition encompassing the entire theology of the Sikh faith. It gives us great pride to have the Mool Mantar sung by Ishmeet Singh. May God bless his soul!...

The Mool Mantar sums up Sikh beliefs about God, and is said to be Guru Nanak's first teaching. In brief, it says, 'There is only one God. His name is the ultimate truth & He is present in all beings. He is the creator of everything; He is without fear or hate. He is timeless, beyond birth and death. Self-existent, He is known by the Guru's grace.

It is common for many Sikhs & Hindu Punjabis to mediate on the Mool Mantar for 10 to 20 minutes early in the morning.

BIG Music & Home Entertainment is releasing the Mool Mantar album rendered by Ishmeet Singh on CDs and Music Cassettes. Consumers can also download the Caller Ring Back tones and Ringtones across major telecom networks.
