Bhaag Milkha Bhaag music sprints to top charts
MUMBAI: Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, this years biggest box office sensation, has another reason to thank its fans. The music of the movie has received phenomenal response and is leading charts and today stands at the no.1 position on iTunes as a single and album. The song Zinda, sung by the debutant and Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth Mahadevan, has grabbed the no.1 position and has become a youth icon.
The entire album was released a week prior to its actual release by Sony Music, i.e. 14 June , due to the demand by the fans. Commenting on the success, Sanujeet Bhujabal said, “We are delighted to be a part of the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag phenomena and to have worked with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s talented team. We were confident of the music of the film and always knew its potential. We are humbled by the fans response as today the album stands at no. 1 on iTunes as well as other charts.”
