Known as Prince of Pakistan and Heart of Asia, Atif was born on March 12, 1983 in Wazirabad and educated in Lahore and Rawalpindi. For most of his student life he worked hard to be a cricketer and used to be main attack bowler of school cricket team.

But destiny chose otherwise. From occasional singing at the college canteen, participating in college competitions he moved on to form a band called 'Jal' with bandmate and guitarist Goher who also helped him refine his singing skills. One unique feature is his powerful vocal belting technique.

His latest songs from the movie Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani ('Tera Hone Laga Hun' and 'Tu Jaane Na') has taken the industry by storm.
