MUMBAI: The Bhagavad Gita is regarded as the most precious moral and spiritual guide for all humans.

The Bhagavad Gita is seen by many as an allegory for the ethical and moral struggles of the human life.  Its call for selfless action inspired many including Gandhi Ji who called it his “spiritual dictionary”.

While The Bhagavad Gita exists in almost every Hindu home, it is quite difficult to interpret and understand.  This musical project is an effort to create an “easy to understand” version of The Bhagavad Gita in an entertaining format: 

• Each of the 18 chapters of  The Bhagavad Gita is presented as a song in elegant Hindi written by noted lyricist Smt. Maya Govind
• The verses are recreated as dialogues rendered as melodious songs with Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota playing the role of  Lord Krishna and Music Director Shri Vivek Prakash playing the role of Arjuna
• The idea is to present the key learnings of The Gita in a quick 100 minutes in an entertaining format that can be heard daily

The launch would be presented in a unique format where Anup Jalota and Vivek Prakash would assume the roles of Lord Krishna and Arjuna while singing and narrating the songs and verses from the album.
