94.3 Radio One Goes Live At Total Mall-Airport Road On Saturday

BENGALURU: Even without the stars, Santa should have no problem finding where the action is this holiday season… As part of the final leg of the Total Mall Promotions, 94.3 Radio One on Saturday, 20th December, will shift its studio to TOTAL  to create an exciting mix of a studio-quality show with the rhythm of a live broadcast. Contests and prizes will greet the fans at TOTAL throughout the day. A team of Radio One RJs will take the request from those who want to step in have a feel of the real thing.

TOTAL is celebrating it`s 2nd Anniversary with 94. 3 Radio One and is making it memorable for its consumers with lots of fun, tonnes of excitement and >500 exclusive anniversary offers across its stores at Mysore Road, Madiwala, Sarjapur and Kempfort.

TOTAL in partnership with 94.3 Radio One is gearing up to be the ultimate host of holiday fun as TOTAL and the channel unpacks its list of the goodies right through this festival season.

The whole of December, 94.3 Radio One teams up with TOTAL at Kemp Fort (on old Airport Road), to raise the excitement to new heights and present a whole array of perfect goodies. The fun and games kicked off on Saturday, 6th of December, with a nail biting Treasure Hunt. Participants came under fire literally, with 15 clues hitting them, one per minute. The champion took home a refrigerator while the second winner got himself a washing machine and the third, an iPod.

Last Saturday, 13th December, the consumers were given a real treat as the 'Cart Race' took off where the On-air winners were taken to TOTAL and were given a shopping list, with a deadline of 9 minutes and 43 seconds. Yes, there was a war and it was a war front as the consumers went about filling their shopping cart within the allotted deadline. The top 3 winners won refrigerators, digicams and iPods, with all the participants getting 25% off on all the goods in their cart.

"Lining up just music on a festival eve doesn't fit in with the times anymore," said Shyju Varkey, Station Head, Radio One- Bangalore. "We want to put on a cracker of a show for all our audience. We have had a brilliant time putting together a fantastic line-up of games and fun and one or two surprises and can promise Bangalore a great festival season to remember," added Mr Varkey.

This unique brand integration format has been progressively taken to new levels by Radio One  There was the Titan Fastrack launch when Radio One became "Radio One Fastrack" for an entire day and more recently, the live studios at the Weekender store on Commercial Street which was a huge success.
