94.3 MY FM To Promote Oral Health on Dental Health Awareness Day on July 18

MUMBAI: With changing food habits and increasing dependence on fast food, oral hygiene has become a big concern in day today life. According to a national survey almost 80% Indians are suffering from tooth or gum decay. Dentists attribute it to the lack of awareness about regular dental checkup. According to them tooth decay can be generally prevented by simple filling of dental cavities but people tend to reach them with advanced decay with a broken tooth or severe dental ache. In the light of these disturbing facts 94.3 MY FM is celebrating Dental Health Awareness Day on 18th July across its 17 radio stations in 7 states.

MY FM Udaipur shall promote an activity "Dikhao battisee pao battisee", in which the morning show will have a dentist's interview regarding dental care tips & questions from the listeners. Also from 11 in the morning to 7pm, on the decided venue listerners can visit and play the game of "Dhikhao battisee pao battisee". The people with 32 teeth shall win a gift hamper from MY FM consisting of 32 items of dental care. The participants in the process of selection shall undergo dental check up which shall create awareness about the importance of regular oral check up.

MY FM Bhopal shall spread awareness through the broadcast of a dentist's interview on dental and oral hygiene interspersed with on air questions from the listeners. Novel games and quizzes etc. shall also be played on dental awareness. Prizes to the winners of contests shall consist of the dental care hampers.

MY FM Ajmer shall be giving on-air tips for healthy teeth and gums. The listeners shall be asked to call the RJs and tell them about any such incident when they went to the dentist. The station shall be playing contests with listeners and give them gifts.

Games
