94.3 MY FM Adds Meaning to Masti these Navratras

New Delhi: 94.3 MY FM, the Bhaskar Group radio station has started a series of on air and on ground activities these Navratras to celebrate, acknowledge and applaud the supreme power - Goddess Durga and her human form - the woman.

Shakti - a radio show saluting the spirit of women will be on air for all nine days of the Navratras. Dedicated to women, the show will talk about their achievements, their beauty, their wonderful qualities and their spirit. Another on air contest, `Goddess of the Day` will allow people to call and nominate the special women in their lives for the title, with reasons to support the nomination. One special lady will be awarded the title at 6 pm everyday and will get her shot at fame with her photograph and write up appearing in Dainik Bhaskar the next day. The daily winner will also receive a prize from 94.3 MY FM.

In addition, there will be hourly Q&A contests for women on random topics, allowing them to win great prizes like expensive cosmetics, a day at the spa, lunch with friends etc., making these Navratras an exciting and unforgettable event. Praising and acknowledging all women, 94.3 MY FM will play the most famous lines ever written for women - a short poem or a statement complimenting their qualities and their beauty. A heart warming program, it will put a smile on the face of every female listener and make her feel special.

Talking about on ground activities, to celebrate Navratras in its traditional form, a 9-day long, on-ground Garba has been organized by 94.3 MY FM for all dance lovers in Ahmedabad and Surat. The grand finale of the Garba will be Utsav - a huge, women centric consumer expo that will be held on October 20th & 21st. A consumer fair dedicated to women, it will have all products that women will find useful - from household goods to electronic equipment and from fashion accessories to cosmetics.

For all those who will not be able to join the Garba celebrations, 94.3 MY FM`s DJ Vivek will play Garba remixes throughout the nine nights of Navratras, from 9 pm till midnight.
