The New Year special programming enters its third season this year and will once again welcome the NEW YEAR with listeners across the country. Living up to its reputation, the show will present the best of entertainment from the year gone by, cutting across - music, movies, television or sports, â€?2011 ki last Gaddi' will touch upon all the highs, lows, hits & misses, tears, disappointment, humor, trends and more.

�2011 ki last Gaddi' will also be the platform to pay tribute to those individuals who left an indelible mark on our lives through their work, be it the original style icons of the 50s and 60s Dev Anand & Shammi Kapoor or the soulful melodies of Jagjit Singh and Bhupen Hazarika, or Steve Jobs whose inventions changed the course of our lives or the cricketing legend Tiger Pataudi.

Noted film journalist and critic Bhawana Somaaya in her own inimitable style will analyze the hits and misses of 2011, from the film industry. Similarly actor-director-producer Aruna Irani, a veteran of the big and small screens and a successful television producer, will discuss the television shows which were launched this year and those that worked and those that failed to make a mark.

On popular demand, �2011 ki last Gaddi' will also be presenting the best of �Actor Calling Actor' which won the Gold Award for the Most Unique Programming Idea/ Concept at the prestigious �Golden Mikes' Award this year. Inspired by the father-son duo of a Bollywood family, Actor Calling Actor is a rib-tickling comedy that takes a potshot at the happenings of Bollywood. The best of this series in 2011 will be presented every hour beginning Dec 26th right up to Dec 31st, 2011.

Listeners will get a special treat on December 31, 2011 when the Countdown of the Top 100 songs of the year begins which includes not just Bollywood but hit regional selections as well. This slot begins at 9 AM and will run right through till 7 PM across all Hindi speaking markets. And then begins the BIG New Year's Eve Party Mix by DJ Kanishk featuring the hottest new dance tracks as well as the all time classic dance hits, regional dance hits and a dash of international club hits.
