MUMBAI: 92.7 BIG FM and BBC bring to you a unique initiative titled Music beyond Borders'. Standing true to its name, this first of its kind initiative will see the Indian rock band Euphoria and Pakistani pop band Strings coming together live from the studios of Delhi and Karachi respectively to offer India a memorable afternoon from 12noon – 3pm. Marking the 63rd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, 92.7 BIG FM and BBC will use music to transcend all borders and dividers to spread peace through music. With the 30th of January being observed as International Day of Peace, the day when the Father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated, the timing for this couldn't be better.

To ensure the right blend of music from both bands and countries and ensuring highest levels of listener's engagement and entertainment, the bands will offer a music mosaic that will ensure an aural treat for listeners. The two bands will surpass all borders and partitions and share music which audiences across the country can savor.

The interactions will see the bands switch songs, discuss music heritage, speak about similarities in music and jam to some of the most popular songs as they take listener requests, interact with the radio jockey and more….
