Spice launches stellar series with three android phones

MUMBAI: Spice has launched  a new series of ‘Stellar’ android phones with three handsets ‘Mi-425 Stellar’, ‘Mi-500 Horizon’ and ‘Mi-355 Craze’ in the Indian market.

The company has partnered with NQ Mobile to provide security solutions for the devices. The handsets are pre-loaded with Netqin anti-virus applications to protect against viruses, data loss, theft and financial security. All the three devices will also get 100 MB of free data every month for the first year via Aircel.

The Spice Stellar sports a 4inch display, 800x480 pixel resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 245MHz GPU, android 2.3 Gingerbread upgradable to android 4.0 ICS, 5 MP rear camera with auto focus and flash, front facing VGA camera, 512MB RAM, 2000 mAh battery and up to 32GB expandable storage via microSD card. The device is priced at Rs 9999.

The Stellar Horizon is equipped with 5 inch display, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 300MHz GPU, android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual-SIM capability, 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and flash and a front facing VGA quality camera. The handset is priced at Rs 11999.

The Stellar Craze features 3.5-inch display, 800MHz processor, android 2.3 Gingerbread upgradable to android 4.0 ICS and is priced at Rs 6499. Additional details of the device have not been revealed yet.
