Sony expands Xperia series with three new handsets

MUMBAI: Sony has expanded its Xperia series with the launch of three NXT smartphones – ‘Xperia U’, ‘Xperia P’ and ‘Xperia Sola’ in the Indian market.

‘Xperia U’ is embedded with 3.5 inch scratch-resistant TFT touch-screen, 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 2.3 android OS upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera with auto focus 16x digital zoom, LED flash, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and 50GB cloud space. The device is priced at Rs 17, 399.

‘Xperia P’ is equipped with 4-inch scratch-resistant TFT touch-screen, 960 x 540 pixels resolution, 2.3 android OS upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 8 MP camera with auto focus, 8x digital zoom, LED flash, 16GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM. Priced at Rs 26,799 the smartphone provides 16 GB internal memory and 50GB cloud space.

‘Xperia Sola’ features 3.7 inch scratch-resistant TFT touch-screen, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 5 MP auto focus camera with LED flash and NFC technology. It has 8 GB internal storage, microSD memory card slot and 50GB cloud space. The handset is priced at Rs 20,449.
