Samsung unveils S5620 Monte

MUMBAI: Adding on to its burgeoning range of handsets, Samsung has launched the S5620 Monte in the Indian market.

The full touchpad, 3G enabled handset with 3 inches TFT capacitive touch screen with 256K colors and has TouchWiz UI 2.0 plus, turn to mute, smart unlock and accelerometer sensor  3G, Wi-Fi, , 3.15 MP camera and secondary camera with video call feature 

With 200 MB internal memory, phone has expandable memory up to 16GB. The main camera which is 3.15 mega pixel has geo-tagging and smile detection features. Other features includes, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio with RDS, 3.5 mm audio jack, social networking integration with live updates, google maps 3.0 and image editor applications. Apart from 3G, the handset supports
wi-fi, GPS with A-GPS support.

Li-Ion 960 mAh battery has Up to 769 hrs standby and Up to 9 hours 42 min talk time on 2G (GSM) network.

Priced at Rs 8,850, the handset is touted as is one of the cheapest mobile phone in India which comes with the above mentioned features.
