Samsung unveils dual-SIM smartphone Galaxy Star

MUMBAI: South Korean mobile handset maker Samsung Electronics has launched its cheapest smartphone from the Galaxy series, the dual-SIM Galaxy Star in the Indian market.

The handset features 3 inch with QVGA display, android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 1GHz processor, 2MP rear camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card, 2G, edge, WiFi, bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 1200 mAh battery.

Samsung Mobile country head Vineet Taneja said, "Galaxy Star is a device that provides superior value to consumers based on its features, intuitive performance and design features. We want more and more feature phone users to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Star."

The device is priced at Rs 5,240.
