Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note 3 by September

MUMBAI: After witnessing success with its Note series, Korean handset maker Samsung is now gearing up to launch the third generation of the smartphone range, the Galaxy Note 3 in the second half of the year.

The device is stated to have a massive 6.3 inch full HD display, Touch Wiz Nature UX 2.0, 4GB RAM, Exynos Octa core CPU and will run on android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

It will also witness some major enhancements to its onboard camera. The Note 3 will sport a 13MP camera with an anti-shake feature designed to capture higher quality pictures, and a 2MP secondary camera.

Reports also suggest that Samsung's mobile communications team is developing technologies to bring OIS (optical image stabilization), 3x optical zoom and shutter functions to the Note 3, putting it more on par with traditional digital cameras.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 3 in Q3 this year, with Berlin's annual IFA consumer electronics showcase held in the second week of September.
