Samsung Touchwiz phone to hit market

MUMBAI: Samsung officially announced the launch of their new touchscreen phone, the Samsung F480, also known as the Samsung TouchWiz. The phone would feature a new img4.gif user interface (UI) with specially designed widgets to customize and personalize the phone.

The TouchWiz UI is a tri-band phone with HSDPA 7.2Mbps support, and an ample 2.8" touch screen QVGA display. The camera count is an impressive 5 mega pixels and comes with auto-focus, power LED flash, image and video stabilization. If that's not all, the phone also comes with a drag and drop feature allowing users instant access to functions at one touch.Some other Touchwiz features include video recording, editing and playback, video telephony, mobile blogging, mobile printing, Google map, email or search, and RSS reader with a USB 2.0 connectivity and does feature a 240 MB internal music memory which has an expandable memory up to 8GB.

The Samsung F480 is about to hit the shelves in Europe by June followed by other GSM regions. The phones availability in India is still unknown.
