Samsung taps 3G market with Star Nano 3G

MUMBAI: With 3G being rolled out in the country soon, the handset manufacturers are now jumping onto the bandwagon to get a share of the market. Taking the cue, Samsung has unveiled its latest handset for the Indian market – Star Nano 3G S3370.

The stylish 3G enabled phone sports a 2.6-inch touchscreen and a curvilinear design. It also features Samsung's Touchwiz 2.0 interface with 4 page menus. It also bundles a good selection of social apps including Google Talk, Palringo Chat and AIM. The handset provides a quick access to MySpace, Facebook and YouTube out of the box.

This mobile has a 35 MB internal memory that is expandable to 16 GB. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera, music recognition, FM radio and video recording. It also has a host of features like an English dictionary, mobile tracker, fake call and mobile prayer, Microsoft Active Sync, Google push email service and sync calendar. Users can store up to 2000 contacts in the phone.

The handset is priced at Rs 7320.
