Samsung introduces Corby to India

MUMBAI: Samsung has introduced the S3650, the new touchscreen model with the rear panel in a vibrant yellow, in India.

It is a full-touch handset that places users at the center of the social media revolution with a wide range of social networks support, such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. The Samsung S3650 comes with 2.8-inch QVGA touch display, a 2 megapixel camera, quad-band GSM connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FM radio and microSD card slot.

The phone allows filtering tracks by author, album, and genre. Automatic playlists are also generated and can subsequently be used as filters. It also has a dedicated homescreen widget, allowing quick access to the full version of the application with only a single tap. You can also start, stop and alternate tracks straight from the home screen.

The phone features an FM radio with RDS. The S3650 Corby's radio app offers intuitive controls and has the Find Music recognition service implemented.
