MUMBAI: Pioneer has launched TS-W1208D2 component subwoofer of Champion Series specially made for cars with three-layer Three-Layer Interwoven Radial Surround.

The 12 inch and 1,400 W (400 W) subwoofer is made up of three layers — two of cloth and one of interwoven foamed urethane for louder but more controlled bass.

The subwoofers have interlaced aramid/basalt fibre-reinforced IMPP composite cone designed in order to prevent cone failure at high sound pressure levels. The fibres are interlaced which provides the strength and rigidity for low distortion, clean and outstanding powerful bass.

The dual voice coil design allows easy installation as all speaker terminals have been placed on one side of the subwoofer rather than on both sides. The product is available at Rs. 4990.
