Nokia unveils sophisticated music phone

MUMBAI: Nokia has released details of a new handset that focuses on music and "sophisticated" design.

The 7205 Intrigue boasts a sleek black exterior with an external display screen that remains hidden until the handset is activated by the user or an incoming communication.

In addition, the device is equipped with an internal keypad that comes in two gradient-colour finishes - silver and pink.

Nokia also detailed a new feature on the phone called Habitat mode, which is exclusive to the handset.

"When the Habitat mode is activated, contacts are presented in chronological order, providing an engaging and intuitive way for customers to track, visualise and connect with their contacts," it added.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue also features a two-megapixel camera with flash, photo uploading to a number of social networking sites and Bluetooth support.

Earlier this month the Finnish manufacturer announced three new models - the 5730 and 5330 XpressMusic, as well as the 5030.
