Nokia Lumia 620 smartphone unveiled

MUMBAI: Apart from launching the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, Nokia has also announced the launch of Lumia 620 for India in February; and will be available globally in December.

Lumia 620 is the low-end smartphone in the country with Windows Phone 8 in Nokia’s portfolio.

The device is equipped with a 3.8-inch TFT WVGA display with ClearBlack technology, 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP rear autofocus camera capable of 720p video recording, VGA front camera, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, expandable memory up to upto 64GB via microSD card, additional 7GB SkyDrive storage, NFC, bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and 1,300mAh battery.

As any other Windows Phone 8 device, the handset will feature a Live Tile interface for updates to the Start Screen, PeopleHub and a Me Tile along with other Windows Phone 8 functions.

The handset also features Nokia exclusive Windows Phone 8 in-built apps like Nokia Drive, CityLens, Nokia Maps, MixRadio and more.

The pricing of the Lumia 620 will be announced closer to its launch date.
