MUMBAI: Expanding its Asha series further, Nokia has unveiled the Asha touch range with the launch of three handsets – 305, 306 and 311. The devices, based on S40 operating system, feature the Nokia Browser 2.0, which uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90 per cent along with in-built Nokia Maps app. The Asha 305 and Asha 306 has FM radio with recording, MP3/MP4 player, a 3inch WQVGA resistive touch-screen, dual-SIM capability, 2MP camera, BL-4U 1,110 mAh battery, 64MB internal memory expandable with micro-SD card up to 32 GB and bluetooth. Users can download 40 EA games including Need for Speed, Tetris and Bejeweled, amongst others. The Asha 305 is priced at Rs 4360, while Asha 306 is priced Rs 4706. The Asha 311 is equipped with a scratch proof 3.5G capacitive touch-screen, polarization filters to provide a smooth user interface, 3.2MP camera, 1GHz processor, in-built Angry Birds app, facebook, twitter, WhatsApp and in-built storage of 256MB with support up to 32GB via microSD card. The device is priced at Rs 6367.
