Nokia launches 5233 in India
MUMBAI: The smartphone is packed with many features including full touch screen 3.2 inch display with 16.7 million colors, 70 MB internal memory and expandable up to 16 GB, up to 33 hrs music playback time, 3.5 mm jack, 2 megapixel camera with CMOS sensor and 3x digital zoom, FM radio with RDS and many more.
It comes with dedicated keys for camera, volume, power, send and end, and application launch (menu), plus the media bar touch key for accessing music, gallery, share online, video centre and web browser. It has several Nokia service supports which include, Nokia Podcasting and Nokia Music Store support.
The built-in music player supports MP3 (VBR), AAC, eAAC, AAC, WMA, WAV and other audio format player, can play music continuously 33 hours, and equipped with 3.5 mm headphone plug hole. It also supports WMV9, MPEG4, 3GP (H.263) video format play, etc., and can Mpeg4 format, 4.6 hours of playback, nHD format of 3 hours. The handset also comes with additional features such as the FM FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, A2DP stereo Bluetooth headset capabilities.
With the growing interest in social networking sites the handset comes with Facebook, You Tube, Friendster, Hi5, Amazon and MySpace pre-loaded applications. OVI Music, OVI Store, Nokia Maps 3.0 and FOTA (Firmware update Over The Air) are also included.
The phone powered with 320 mAh Li-Ion standard battery (BL-5J) with up to 10.7 hrs talk time and it is now available in India in White-Red, White-Silver and Black-Dark silver color combinations with changeable colors battery covers at a price tag of Rs. 7,850.
With launch of Nokia 5233 in India, Nokia announced 10 songs download voucher by which user can download 10 songs of their choice free from Nokia music stores. Voucher is available inside the box. This is limited period scheme from Nokia.
