Motorola to launch Milestone XT720 in India

MUMBAI: Handset manufacturer Motorola is geared up for the launch of its new handset Milestone XT720 in India.

The smartphone is a 10.9 mm thick capacitive touchscreen based on android 2.1 that allows watching videos in high definition (HD) and feature 3.7 inch (480 x 854) WVGA TFT screen, 8 megapixel camera, 10x digital zoom with xenon flash and 720p HD camcorder.

Users can not only shoot, watch and share pictures, but also edit them. The editor has various settings like panorama mode, face detection, burst mode, filters for faces, reducing red eye and stabilizer.

The handset features radio and sports a 3.5 mm headset jack, webkit full HTML5 browser, multitouch and soft keyboard, wi-fi and Bluetooth. Furthermore, the phone also supports video playback onto HDTV via HDMI cable.

The mobile comes powered with 1390 mAh Li Ion battery, which offer talk time upto 270 minutes on 3G network and up to 540 minutes of talktime on GSM network.

The handset is supplied with a 8GB microSD card can receive a memory card to 32GB and is priced at Rs 30,000, however, the company is yet to officially announce the launch.
