Meizu iPhone lookalike to launch in India?

MUMBAI: Taiwan-based distributor Meizu, that introduced the M8 aka MiniOne mobile phone in mid-2008 may launhc the iPhone-look-alike phone in India by December, after the gadget's China launch.

Reports say Geek IT will operate the phone's retail operations in India. The Meizu handset is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 18,000 and Rs 22,000 for the 8 GB model.

In terms of specs and features, the M8 sports a 3 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch touch screen LCD, media player, an in-built FM radio, EDGE support and Bluetooth. It also supports AVI, MPEG4 and WMV files.

Other features of the phone include Windows CE, DMB Tuner to connect TV or projector, video output and GPS.
