MUMBAI: LG has announced launch of its first quad-core smartphone Optimus 4X HD in the Indian market.
The device sports a quad-core NVIDIA 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor, LG’s new user interface Optimus UI 3.0, 4.7 inch touch-screen display of the HD-IPS variety, 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 8MP camera with LED flash, auto and touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, panorama, 1.3 MP front camera, dedicated microphone for noise cancellation, stereo FM radio, 1GB LP DDR2 RAM and 16 GB expandable memory through microSD card.
The handset is also equipped with 2,150 mAh battery, 3G, EDGE/GPRS, WiFi, DLNA connectivity, bluetooth with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support and QuickMemoTM allowing users to instantly jot memos or notes.
The device is expected to be priced at Rs 34,990.
