LG announces first Quad-Core processor smartphone 'Optimus 4X HD'

MUMBAI: Smartphone manufacturer LG has announced its first Quad-Core processor handset Optimus 4X HD.

The 8.9mm slim handset features 4.7 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 16GB internal memory and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor running on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich.

The device sports an 8 MP BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor camera with LED flash, 1.3 MP front camera and 2,150mAh battery. The device also features MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) connectivity enhancing the video quality.

More details of the product will be disclosed by LG at the Mobile World Conference at Barcelona commencing from Monday.
