Lenovo K900 smartphone unveiled at CES 2013

MUMBAI: Lenovo K900 android smartphone has been unveiled at Consumere Electronic Show 2013. The smartphone will be available from April in China followed by India, Russia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines soon.

The handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, dual-core 2 GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail+ chip, 2 megapixel front-facing camera with a wide viewing angle,13-megapixel F1.8 lens camera with dual flash, 16GB of integrated memory, GSM and 3G UMTS networks.

Lenovo mobile internet digital home senior vice president president Liu Jun said, “With the K900, our team has broken down the key functions of the smartphone and redesigned them from the ground up. Rather than focus on specifications that look good on a datasheet, we’ve zeroed in on what consumers want and proved that for smartphone users, top performance doesn’t require a thick profile. The K900 is a game-changer that looks as good as it performs.”

Intel mobile and communications group general manager Hermann Eul, said, “ This innovative smartphone exemplifies the close cooperation between Lenovo and Intel. We believe that consumers will appreciate Lenovo’s cutting-edge design and the overall responsiveness provided by Intel’s next generation processor.”

Pricing for the K900 will be announced at a later date.
