Intex rolls out two new handsets in India

Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. has launched two new dual SIM mobile phones, the Intex IN 4488 and IN 3080, on the GSM platform. The company claims that these models provide a seamless communication experience with two different GSM numbers (G+G).

The Intex IN 4488 is loaded with features like Bluetooth, camera, FM radio, audio player, expandable memory up to 4 GB and phonebook memory with storage capacity up to 800 contacts. The handset has a 2.4-inch TFT CCTN screen and an English-Hindi-Numeric keypad with an easy interface. The handset is available at a price of Rs. 4,600.

The Intex IN 3080 is a 'slider' phone available in three colors - red, orange and black. It comes with USB connectivity for transferring data from PC to phone and vice versa. The handset is also loaded with features like Bluetooth, camera, audio player, FM radio and is priced at Rs. 4,200.

Intex Technologies DGM telecom Sanjay Kumar says, "Seeing the excellent response to the various models of single SIM phones launched earlier, we decided to move up the technology value chain. With the inclusion of the IN 4488 and IN 3080, Intex's dual SIM phones portfolio has 10 variants to offer. The products are already in the pan-India market and have been showing good acceptance....
