HTC unveils One series in India

MUMBAI: Smartphone manufacturer HTC has unveiled its ‘One’ series  with two handsets 'One V' and 'One X' in the Indian market.

The ‘One’ series integrates android 4 (ICS) with HTC Sense 4 - an enhancements to audio quality and the upgraded version of HTC Image Sense - a new suite of camera and imaging.

HTC India country manager Faisal Siddiqui said, “One of the key objectives for the HTC One series, was to enable the user to remember their best moments in life easily, whether it be capturing a photo or listening to a song, so it was crucial for us to improve these emotional experiences with an amazing camera and authentic sound experience. We are much focused on creating an invaluable camera and audio experience that is user-friendly, so customers will love using it and we believe that the HTC One series will deliver this like never before.”

One X features NVIDIA Tegra 3 Mobile Processor, 1.5 GHz Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-cores with an integrated fifth battery saver core and 12-Core NVIDIA GPU.  The handset is embedded with 4.7inch, 720p HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass and a LTE-enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with up to 1.5GHz dual-core CPU.

HTC One V is enhanced with iconic aluminium unibody design, 3.7-inch LCD display, a 1GHz single-core processor, Beats Audio, Sense 3.6 and Android 4.0. The device sports 4GB internal memory and 5MP camera with 720dp video camera.

The HTC One X and HTC One V will be priced at Rs 42999 and 19999 respectively.
