HTC launches smartphone 'Sensation XE'

MUMBAI: HTC has launched 'XE', an enhanced version in its sensation smartphone series in the Indian market.

Sensation XE is embedded with 4.3 inch HD screen with 540 x 960 pixels, android v2.3.4 (Gingerbread), Sense 3.0 user interface and 1.5 GHz dual core processor coupled with 768 MB of RAM.

The smartphone is integrated with 8.1 megapixel auto-focus camera supporting 3264 x 2448 pixels dual LED. The handset also features secondary front-facing camera for video calls to record full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps with stereo sound recording.

XE comes with an internal memory of 1 GB and 32 GB expandable microSD memory. The handset includes other standard features of android  phones 3G, WiFi,  bluetooth 3.0 and all the sensors, along with Google's suite of applications.

The device is powered with 1730 mAh battery that claims to offer talk time of 9 hours on 2G and 7 hours on 3G and standby time of 310 hours on 2G and 540 hours on 3G. HTC Sensation XE is priced at Rs 33,000.
