HTC launches 'EVO 3D' smartphone in India

MUMBAI: HTC has launched 3D android smartphone �EVO 3D' in the Indian market.

Powered by android 2.3 and Qualcomm 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon processor, �Evo 3D' features 4.3 inch glasses free 3D display with native resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, dual 5MP camera for 3D recording and 1.3 MP front camera. The handset is equipped with HTC Sense, 3G Mobile Hotspot capacity, 4GB internal memory/1GB RAM and microSD slot (supports up to 32GB memory card).

HTC �EVO 3D' also includes access to more than 150,000 applications, widgets and games, google mobile services such as google search, gmail, google maps with navigation, google calendar, voice actions, corporate e-mail (Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync), personal (POP and IMAP) e-mail and instant messaging, Wi-Fi – 802.11 b/g/n, stereo bluetooth, integrated GPS and 1730 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

The handset enables users to post video to YouTube or Facebook, or share moments in real time over the internet live, via Qik. Its integrated DLNA capacity allows sharing stored music, pictures and user-generated HD video wirelessly with other DLNA-certified home electronics, including HDTVs, monitors, digital cameras and printers. Using an HDMI cable makes it possible to also share user-created 3D video content via a 3D TV.

The handset will be available at a price of Rs 35,990 at all authorised HTC resellers across the country.
