MUMBAI: HTC has expanded its Desire series with the launch of a budget smartphone Desire C in the Indian market.

The device is equipped with 3.5 inch touch-screen, 320x480 resolution, android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with new HTC Sense 4 UI, 5MP camera with LED flash, Beats Audio, audio-video playback and recording, 3.5 mm audio jack, Snapdragon S1 600 MHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal memory and 25 GB of cloud storage at Dropbox space for two years.

The handset also features Wi-Fi and bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP wireless connectivity and comes pre-loaded with apps.

The device is priced at Rs 14,299 for sale on online portals.
