MUMBAI: Alcatel ICE 3 has launched OT 806D handset in India, which recently  received the Most Impressive Radiation Free Handset award in the FIEO Telecom Technology Awards.

OT 806D has the lowest SAR Level of only 0.67 Watt/Kg (averaged over a volume of 10 gram of tissue, for head). SAR (specific absorption rate) is an indication of the amount of radiation that is absorbed by a person's head whilst using a cellular phone, the higher the SAR rating the more radiation that is absorbed into the head.

The handset comes with 2.8... TFT touch display, QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi. It also features dual sim, generic push mail, onscreen widgets, 2.0 mp camera, music player, expandable memory upto 8 GB, bluetooth, web camera with modem, FM radio and also enables the user to use all social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitters. The user can access multi email accounts at the same time with attachments support.
