Mirchi widens lead in Delhi, Big is close second in Kolkata

MUMBAI: While Radio Mirchi retained its lead in three metros, conceding first position to Big FM only in Bangalore, RAM statistics for week 39 indicate minor shifts in all the four metros.

Bangalore: Big FM lost 1 percentage point but retained its number one position, taking a market share of 19.3 per cent, while Radio Mirchi lost 0.3 percentage points to end with a share of 17.3 per cent. Fever that climbed 0.5 points, had  a share of 16.6 per cent during the week, while Radio City too manage to up 1.4 points, ending the week with a share of 12.6 per cent. AIR FM Rainbow station contended with a share of 10.9 per cent, having climbed 0.7 points during the week.

Delhi: Mirchi consolidated its position, gaining 0.9 points, and ending with a  share of 24 per cent, while Fever lost 0.7 points, to end with a share of 18.9 per cent. AIR FM Gold station at number three lost 0.7 points to end with a share of 17 per cent, while Red FM stayed at number four wtih a share of 9.1 per cent, having lost 0.9 percentage points during the week.

Kolkata: Mirchi gained 0.1 points, to end the week with a share of 19.5 per cent, while Big FM gained 2 percentage points to end the week with a share of 18.7, coming a close second. Friends at third place retained its share of 13.9 per cent, while Aamar FM gained 0.2 points to end the week with a share of 10.6 per cent.

Mumbai: Red FM tried to regain lost glory by gaining 1.5 points and ending the week with a share of 15.8 per cent, while Mirchi lost 0.1 points to end with a share of 18.6 per cent. Radio City made significant strides gaining 0.5 points to end at third place with a share of 12.4 per cent, while AIR FM Gold station stayed a close fourth with a share of 12 per cent. Fever FM came a close fifth with a share of 11.9 per cent.
