Mirchi regains lead margins in Kolkata, Mumbai

MUMBAI: Fever is maintaining a slow climb in most of the metros, even as Mirchi regained its lead margin in Kolkata and Mumbai in wee 44.

The most significant lead by Fever was in Delhi where it climbed 1.4 percentage points in week 44, inching closer to leader Mirchi.

Bangalore: Leader Big FM and Mirchi at second position maintained their figures at 19.4 and 18 per cent share of the market, respectively. Fever, at number three however lost 0.5 percentage points to end the week at a share of 15.1 per cent. Radio City was in fourth, with a share of 11.4 per cent, down 1.1 points from the earlier week. AIR's FM Rainbow station too lost 0.4 points to end the week with a share of 10.1 per cent  Radio One, SFM, and AIR FM Vividh Bharati followed, in that order.

Delhi: Mirchi lost 0.3 points in the capital, to end the week with a share of 23.9 per cent, but stayed ahead of Fever which gained 1.4 percentage points but stayed behind with a share of 19.2 per cent. AIR's FM Gold lost 0.2 points but stayed third with a share of 16.6 per cent, while Red FM came in fourth with a share of 9.2 per cent, a drop of 0.8 points. Radio City, Big FM, Radio One and Meow followed, in that order.

Kolkata: Mirchi consolidated its lead, climbing 1.4 points and ending the week with a share of 20.4 per cent. Big FM followed with a share of 16.7 per cent, taking a drop of 0.6 percentage points, while Friends climbed 0.1 points to end with a share of 14.9 per cent. Aamar FM followed with a share of 10.4 per cent.

Mumbai: In the commercial capital, Mirchi gained 0.8 points to end the week with a share of 19.2 per cent, while Red FM slipped 0.6 points to end with a share of 14.3 per cent. AIR FM Gold came in third with a share of 13.3 per cent, a climb of 0.2 points. Fever, Radio City and Big FM followed.
