Bangalore's Radio City maintains highest TSL compared to stations in other metros

MUMBAI: According to the second week of RAM ratings for 2015, among the private players, Bangalore's Radio City TSL at 9.18, is the highest compared to all four metro cities. Big FM Bangalore registered a TSL of 8.35, putting it in second place. The Time Spent Listening (TSL) in two other stations in the same city-Radio Mirchi (7.49) and Fever FM (7.36) were higher than other stations in other cities.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, Fever FM registered a TSL of 6.26, and a market share of 13.1 per cent, putting it in fourth position in the city. Big FM held second place has lower TSL compared to Fever FM. The station that held the first place in Mumbai was Radio City which had a market share of 19.1 per cent and registered TSL of 5.34. Next in line is Mumbai stations Radio Mirchi and Red FM as their TSL is 4.24 and 4.13 respectively.

In Delhi, Fever FM topped this week again with a market share of 19.1 per cent and a TSL of 5.08. Radio Mirchi was second in the city with a market share of 13.1 per cent, followed by Big FM. The TSL of Radio Mirchi is 3.4 and Big FM is 3.47. Radio City held the fourth position with a market share of 12.5 per cent.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi held the top position with market share of 20.8 per cent and TSL of 4.39. Big FM held the second position with a market share of 16.4 per cent. Oye FM positioned itself third with a market share of 11.2 per cent.

In Bangalore, Radio City's 'City Mathu' with RJ Rachna, 'Love Guru' with RJ Love Guru, 'Shubhodhaya' with RJ Sowjanya and 'City Maathu' with RJ Pradeep are the shows from the station that are doing well. However, Big FM's 'Big Coffee' with RJ Shruti has the highest TARP of 6.5 per cent in the city. Other shows by the station that have good TARP include 'Retro Savaari' with RJ Rashmi and 'Suprabhatha' with RJ Hamsa.

In Mumbai, five shows by Big FM have received decent TARP. 'Suhana Safar' with Anu Kapoor has the highest TARP of 3.8 per cent in Mumbai. However, 'Big Coffee' with RJ Shruti has the highest TARP of 6.5 per cent compared to other shows in all four metros. However, TARP for Big FM's 'Suhana Safar' with Anu Kapoor in Kolkata is 1.7 per cent and in Delhi is 2.6 per cent. In Delhi, Fever FM's 'Evening Drive' with Nitin has the highest TARP of 2.4 per cent and Radio Mirchi's Kolkata show 'Kaali Kotha' with RJ Jaganath has highest TARP of 4.2 per cent in the city.
