BARC Week 1: MTV Beats, 9XM swap positions

MUMBAI: In Week 1 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), WOW music channel has scaled down in its numbers as it’s received 15912 impressions (‘000s) as per last week when the channel grossed 20819 impressions (‘000s).  Channels MTV Beats, 9XM have drifted in their positions but rest have stuck to their ranks.

9X Jalwa has scaled down in its numbers, receiving 101747 impressions (‘000s) in comparison to week 52 where the channel has got 102896 impressions (‘000s).  MTV Beats has drifted towards the fourth position attaining 119004 impressions (‘000s) this week as it received 127245 in BARC week 52.

Zoom has managed to make a good hike with 76588 impressions (‘000s) as compared to last week when the channel attained 74089 impressions (‘000s).

Overall, the channels have not made a shift in their position, but have made a certain dip and rise in the numbers.
