BARC Week 1: 9X Jalwa witnesses major dip

MUMBAI: In week 1 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R) a few channels have received a major rise while 9XM, B4U Music, VH1, Sony ROX HD, MTV Beats, 9X Jalwa have secured lesser impressions this week.

9X Jalwa witnessed a major dip this week with 112306 impressions (‘000s) in comparison to BARC data week 52 when it received 115320 impressions (‘000s). Zoom too has plunged down with 46282 impressions (‘000s) as compared to last year’s BARC data (Week 52) when it acquired 48477 impressions (‘000s).

Channels that received a major rise in their impressions were Mastiii, Music India, Sony MIX, VH1. Sony MIX climbed above 9X Jalwa with 121992 impressions (‘000s). Music India too managed to push itself above Zee ETC Bollywood and Channel V this week with 24157 impressions (‘000s).

Overall channels have dipped in impressions compared to last week.
