BARC Week 23: Sony MIX overtakes B4U Music; MTV Beats HD re-enters the chart

MUMBAI: Week 23 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R), did see a striking change in the positions of the channels. Last week’s fourth place holder Sony Mix witnessed an upward spike (barely) from 92317 Impressions (‘000s) to 92343 Impressions (‘000s) that placed it in the third place.

B4U Music witnessed decreased in numbers from 93982 Impressions (‘000s) to 90696 Impressions (‘000s). The channel claimed the fourth position.  

Usual topper Mastiii’s numbers dipped from 147366 Impressions (‘000s) to 143304 Impressions (‘000s), however, maintained its numero uno position.

In week 23, 9XM also increased its numbers from 110434 Impressions (‘000s) to 119296 Impressions (‘000s), but it maintained the second position.

MTV Beats also experienced a slight rise in numbers from 85833 Impressions (‘000s) to 89474 Impressions (‘000s). It finished the week at the fifth position, similar to last week.

Among other Hindi music channels, MTV Beats HD re-entered the chart, Sony Rox HD made its way out. The channel finished the week with 1038 Impressions (‘000s) in the last position.
