RAM week 13: BIG FM tops in Mumbai; Fever FM scores its highest shares in Delhi

MUMBAI: BIG FM’s recovery hit a setback with a 0.7 per cent drop in shares, compared to the last week, thus ending the Week 13 with 18.4 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 6.38. Radio City narrowed down the gap to the top with latest week’s shares rising to 16.7 per cent shares, however T.S.L. fell to 5.1. BIG FM and Radio City regained the week 12’s positions, followed by Fever FM who retained the third position, thanks to 14.1 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 6.28. Radio Mirchi missed the top three by 0.3 per cent (14.1 per cent shares/ T.S.L. – 6.28), Red FM (10.4 per cent shares/ T.S.L.- 3.39) followed Mirchi at the fifth position and Oye! FM (3 per cent/T.S.L. - 2.52) finished the Week 13 at the bottom.

Fever FM Delhi’s shares jumped by a whole 1 per cent, thus crossing 20 per cent for the first time. Fever FM retained the top position with the shares of 20.5 per cent and T.S.L. of 4.53. Radio Mirchi drifted further away from the chase to the top with a disappointing fall in shares and T.S.L. (shares – 12.7 per cent; T.S.L. – 3.06). With 12.5 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 3.31, BIG FM entered the top three, replacing Radio City (shares – 12.1 per cent, T.S.L. of 3.26), who move to fourth. Red FM, Oye! FM and Hit FM retained the last week’s positions with the shares of 11.4 per cent, 5.3 per cent and 3.9 per cent respectively.

Radio Mirchi, the only station in top three that did not drop any shares in Week 13, retained the top position with 19.2 per cent and T.S.L. of 4.34. Fever FM retained the last week’s shares (15.4 per cent), however, the station replaced BIG FM at the second position, with the latter dropping the shares from 15.8 per cent to 15.1 per cent. Oye! FM, Red FM and Aamar FM followed the top three, at fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively with shares of 10 per cent, 9.7 per cent and 9.2 per cent respectively. Friends FM (4.5 per cent) and Power FM (3 per cent) retain last week's positions at the bottom of the chart.

Radio City Bengaluru recovery continues to escalate with a rise by 0.3 per cent, however, the T.S.L. continued to fall (10.08). After recovering last week, BIG FM’s shares plummeted to 18.8 per cent and T.S.L. dropped to 7.37. Radio Mirchi retained the last spot in the top three with the Week 13 figures of 17.4 per cent shares and 7.28 T.S.L. Fever FM (14.6 per cent), and Red FM (5.1 per cent) finished the week at fourth and sixth positions respectively. Radio Indigo recorded another lowest per cent of shares in the city, for the latest week, (1.7) and T.S.L of 2.14.
