RAM week 12: BIG FM retains the top position in Mumbai

MUMBAI: BIG FM recovered massively with the shares shooting up by 1.1 per cent, thus finishing the week 12 at the top, with 19.1 per cent shares and T.S.L. increased to 6.38. Radio City’s shares increased by 0.2 per cent and the T.S.L. for week 12 was 5.21. Radio City regained the week 10 figures with 16.1 per cent shares, however the rise was not enough to close the gap to the top. Fever FM, unlike the top two stations, suffered minor fall in the figures, ending the week with the shares of 14.5 per cent and T.S.L. of 6.46, although the station retains the last week's position. Radio Mirchi (13.8 per cent shares/ T.S.L. - 4.1), Red FM (10.3 per cent shares/ T.S.L.- 3.59) and Oye! FM (3.7 per cent/T.S.L. - 2.51) follow at the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

Fever FM Delhi retained the Week 11's position and figures in shares with 19.5 per cent at the end of Week 12, however the T.S.L. rose from 4.59 to 5.02. Radio Mirchi closed on the gap with the shares rising from 12.9 per cent to 13.9 per cent, and the T.S.L. ascended to 3.23. BIG FM dropped to fourth position, with shares - 11.7 per cent and T.S.L.- 3.37. Radio City replaced BIG FM at the third position with the shares of 11.9 per cent and T.S.L. of 3.11. Red FM, Oye! FM and Hit FM retained the last week’s positions with the shares of 10.9 per cent, 5.6 per cent and 3.7 per cent respectively.

The top three radio stations in Kolkata retained the positions, and regained some momentum with the top performer Radio Mirchi’s shares rose from 18.3 per cent to 18.8 per cent and T.S.L. increased to 4.31. BIG FM ended the week with the shares of 15.8 per cent and T.S.L. of 5.5. Fever FM retained the third position with last week’s shares figure, however the T.S.L. dropped to 5.33. Oye! FM, Aamar FM and Red FM followed the top three, and retained fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively with shares of 10.2 per cent, 8.8 per cent and 8.6 per cent respectively. Friends FM (4.7 per cent) and Power FM (2.9 per cent) retain last week's positions at the bottom of the chart.

Radio City Bengaluru recovered from last week’s fall in shares, with a rise by 0.1 per cent, however, the T.S.L. went the opposite direction with the figure of 10.15 (compared to 10.16 in the previous week). BIG FM experienced a growth of 0.1 per cent (20.1 per cent) and T.S.L. of 8.02. Radio Mirchi’s chase to the second position received another positive impact with week 12’s shares increasing from 17 per cent to 17.5 per cent, retaining the third position. Fever FM (13.9 per cent), and Red FM (4.6 per cent) finished the week at fourth and sixth positions respectively. Radio Indigo recorded another lowest per cent of shares in the city (1.5) and T.S.L of 2.14.
