RAM week 08: BIG FM retains top spot in Mumbai yet again

MUMBAI: BIG FM retains the top position in Mumbai with another 0.3 per cent rise in share, resulting to 18.8 per cent, and T.S.L. of 6.35, at the end of week 08. BIG FM continues to lead Radio City as the best performer in the city. Radio City continues to gain momentum with shares rising from 16.4 per cent to 17.3 per cent, and the T.S.L. from 5.32 to 5.38. The Week 08 figures for Radio City helped the radio station continue to dominate at the second position. Fever FM retained the third position, as shares continue to drop from 14.3 per cent to 14.1 per cent, and T.S.L of 7.02 (highest in the city). Radio Mirchi (13 per cent shares) and Red FM (10.5 per cent) follow Fever FM at the fourth and fifth positions respectively, whereas Oye! FM (3.3 per cent) retains Week 07 position.

In Delhi, Fever FM raised the bar for itself with shares rising from 19 per cent to 19.5 per cent, hence retaining the top spot. However, the T.S.L for Fever FM dropped down from 4.54 to 4.43. Radio City's shares dropped by 0.1 per cent, however, the drop did not stop the station from retaining the second spot. Radio City finished the week at the third position with 11.8 per cent of shares and T.S.L. of 3.25. Following closely, with 11.5 per cent shares and T.S.L. of 3.29, BIG FM retains the fourth position. Red FM (shares- 10.4 per cent), Oye! FM (shares- 6.9 per cent) finish the week at fifth and sixth positions, respectively. Hit FM (shares- 4.1 per cent) finish at the bottom of
the chart.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi continues to dominate with an escalated rise in shares, from 18.5 per cent to 19.7 per cent. BIG FM's shares continue to grow with latest week's figure show 15.5 per cent shares, and T.S.L. of 5.38,thus ensuring the second position in the city. Fever FM finished Week 07 at the third position with shares of 15 per cent and T.S.L dropping from 5.47 to 5.38. Red FM dropped by three positions to end the week at the sixth position (shares- 7.8; T.S.L.- 3.04). Oye FM replaces Red FM at the fourth position, thanks to 9.7 per cent in shares and T.S.L. of 3.35, followed by Aamar FM (shares - 9.1 per cent). Friends FM (4.8 per cent) and Power FM (2.7 per cent) fall at the bottom of the chart at the end of the Week 07.

Radio City Bengaluru finished the sixth week with 23.3 per cent shares and T.S.L of 10.01 (highest in the city). Big FM retained the second position in Bengaluru with the shares of 20.7 per cent and T.S.L of 8.1. Radio Mirchi (shares - 16.1 per cent), Fever FM (13.5 per cent), and Red FM (5.1 per cent) finished the week at third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. Radio Indigo recorded the lowest per cent of shares in
the city (2.3) and T.S.L of 3.26.
