Red FM's four cities dancing star hunt with the star cast of 'ABCD 2'

MUMBAI: In an exclusive tie up with the movie ‘ABCD 2’, Red FM did a fiour cities dancing star hunt. The cast and crew of ‘ABCD 2’ toured across India with an aim to encourage the budding dancers in the country. Red FM’s dance competition series was organised in Indore, Jaipur, Bangalore and New Delhi where the team of ‘ABCD 2’ including Remo D’s Souza, Prabhu Deva, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan judged the dancers.

As part of the campaign, Red FM asked its listeners in each city to record a 30 second video of their dance performance and to share it on Red FM’s Facebook page. Later, five contestants from these videos were shortlisted to perform at the finale in each city. Red FM awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 to the winner of the ‘Dance Hunt’ in each city.

At the Delhi leg of the campaign the ABCD2 star cast visited the RED FM studio. Also a group of underprivileged kids from Nizamuddin performed in front of ‘ABCD 2’ starcast.

Commenting on the campaign Red FM, National Marketing Head, Rajat Uppal, said, “Red FM is the radio station for the youth and prides itself in providing pertinent platform which brings our listeners closer to their idol. Movie Tie ups like this strengthen our core proposition of being closer to music, movies and Bollywood.”

‘ABCD 2’ is a sequel to 2013 hit dance based 3D film ‘ABCD -AnyBody Can Dance’. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film released on June 19.
