Radio Mango promotes Sunoj George Abraham as the COO for the company

MUMBAI: Malayala Manorama group operated FM network, Radio Mango has promoted Sunoj George Abraham to the newly created post of chief operation officer. He will report to the management of the group, and in his new role will be responsible for the overall operations of Radio Mango.

Abraham has served the company in various positions like head of sales and marketing, and most recently head of business operation at Radio Mango, before the promotion. In his previous role, he was looking after sales and marketing operations at the radio station.

Commenting on his role, Abraham said, "This promotion is the result of the excellent growth that Radio Mango has witnessed over the last few years and the credit goes to the team."

Further stating his plans for the company, Abraham said, "We are seriously looking for opportunities to expand and grow and consolidate our number one position in Kerala."

Prior to Radio Mango, he worked with telecom operator Vodafone. His experience spans 20 years, having begun as a salesman with Eureka Forbes. Abraham eventually moved on to BPL Mobile, Hutch and later to Vodafone for the Kerala circle. While at Vodafone, he held multiple roles, including key accounts, and channel and distribution management. He joined Radio Mango as head of sales and marketing in September 2012.

Abraham holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a PG diploma in Marketing Management. He also completed his Masters in sales and operations management.
