Combination of radio and digital to drive 'Indie Hai Hum', says Nisha Narayanan
MUMBAI: RED FM COO and director Nisha Narayanan is quite confident about their newest show, Indie Hai Hum, launched amidst great pomp under their platform, RED Indies that caters to independent artists and their music.

At the launch event, Narayanan exclusively spoke about the brand investment and marketing strategy, RED FM has planned for Indie Hai Hum.

Commenting on the brand investing, RED FM COO and director Nisha Narayanan said, “We were a little sceptical, when we announced RED Indies and were not really sure as to what kind of response we will get from the advertising community. But, the response has been extremely upbeat as all of our slots are closed and we don’t have any left for sponsorship. This is really encouraging. There are also a lot of brands, who want to be a part of the JME of supporting independent music apart from us.”

Further speaking on the marketing strategy, Narayanan exclaimed, “It’s probably incorrect to call it a marketing strategy. We have the radio medium, which in itself is a great marketing tool. We also have the digital platform, which is another great marketing tool. A combination of both is going to drive Indie Hai Hum. We will have the show aired, both, on-air and on digital in a video format.”

When quizzed about the financial investment, the boss lady, said, “It’s a humble start, we just hope for a great support. We have the advertising community supporting us.”

Spearheaded by indie sensation Darshan Raval, Indie Hai Hum will start airing tomorrow (27 July 2019) from 9am to 11am with a repeat telecast on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.
